Kamchatka: One worker died performing works in a vessel

24  february, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, one worker of a gold-mining enterprise died of vapour poisoning. Another worker  was taken to a regional hospital.

The accident occurred in Asachinskoye field at the gold mining company “Trevozhnoye Zarevo”. The workers had come down into the tank. According to preliminary data, the men were poisoned by cyanide vapours. One worker died, another one was hospitalized.

Investigation is being held at the crime scene.
