In Arkhangelsk on SLDC worker killed

53-year-old man fell from the platform of the train due to a clash with KAMAZ diesel locomotive

Work was killed in an accident on Solombala sawmills, wood processing plant (SLDK) outside Dobrolyubova in the regional center, according to the Investigation Department of the TFR in the Arkhangelsk region.

KAMAZ and locomotive collided on November 11th. As a result, 53-year-old composer of cars has fallen from last train platform, and later died in hospital.

Upon the death of worker investigating bodies TFR in the region and Nenets Autonomous District is carried out pre-investigation checks.

Investigators establish the circumstances of the incident and collected to assess compliance with occupational safety rules and traffic. The audit they will take a procedural decision.
