On January 9, the trainers of the Bashneftehim training center completed a course in Basic Life Support. The training was conducted by the director of the National Resuscitation Council courses, director of ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) of Russia, major of the medical service Daniil Starostin.
Basic Life Support is an algorithm that allows increasing the chances of survival until professional medical assistance arrives.
All course participants received theoretical knowledge about the importance of ensuring the safety of the rescuer when providing first aid, possible causes of circulatory arrest, rules for calling for help, rules for performing chest compressions and artificial respiration, and practiced performing the basic resuscitation algorithm.
